Darren Hauck is a freelance photographer/filmmaker skilled in portraiture, editorial, commercial and documentary storytelling. After graduating with a BFA in photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Darren has spent the past 15 years dedicating his life to documenting the human condition. Be its refugee camps in Southeast Asia to mud-covered, exhausted cyclocross riders, Darren has captured unflinching images of humanity. Although Darren is skilled in still photography, he has expanded his vision to filmmaking to bring the issues he has dedicated his career to a broader audience. Whether it’s covering social issues and violence in Central America, HIV in Africa, or hunger and poverty in the Midwest United States, where he calls home, Darren continues to push boundaries and tell the stories that are overlooked by the general media.
